Keep on Truckin'

Once you buy a pick-up truck you suddenly realise how useful they are. “I take it down the rubbish tip and I’ve picked up two tons of firewood in it,” says Pete Walker, owner of this 1939 Ford truck. “It’s the three-quarter-ton model with the longer bed that I could fit the bike in. I had a different truck lined up, but the seller backed out at the last minute. Then a friend showed me pictures of a ‘39 pick-up he’d seen at a show and I decided that’s what I wanted.”
