Simon Ringham is a man who has been around cars all his life, for pleasure as well as business. “My first car was a 3.0-litre Capri,” remembers Simon, “but my second was a 1970 Mustang. I run a business called All Stretched Out (01633 282233) buying, selling and importing limousines; in fact I’ve owned more than a thousand cars over the years.” Simon has a fleet of wedding cars including brand new Rolls-Royces, but I made a beeline for his stunning black 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood. He also owns a similar white ’59 and a lovely original white 1960 sedan too… But we’re here for his 1940 Ford.
