> 4 Independence Day run. Leaving Beaumont Street at 7.30pm cruising around the waterfront to St Heliers for a park-up. Hot coffee avail. (money raised goes to local charities) Fireworks at about 8.30pm then clean up and head home.

> 7 Zone 7 Memorial Run hosted by Capital Rodders. Starting at Larf N Tiger, 93 Hutt Park Rd, Lower Hutt @ 10.30am (breakfast available from 9 am if anyone is interested). Followed by a cruise and Sausage Sizzle at Capital Rodders Club Rooms, Onepoto Rd, Titahi Bay. For those wanting to pick up the cruise half-way through, there will be stops at Percy’s Reserve, Maungaraki and Park & Ride near Palmers Garden Centre, Plimmerton. All members from Zone 7 welcome.
