International contest

Over the weekend of September 28/29 the 73rd Motocross of (formerly ‘de’) Nations was held at a truly iconic circuit. ‘Where was that?’ I hear you ask. The Citadel at Namur, Hawkstone Park, Maggiora, Knutstorp? All of these would be good choices, having previously hosted the MXDN, but sadly it was none of these.

This one was held in the Netherlands – so Markelo, perhaps? Or Valkenswaard? They’ve been holding motocross GPs there since the mid-1970s. No, all too obvious I’m afraid.
