To say that Ian McCallum has an avid interest in military vehicles would be an understatement and would not even half describe his passion for the subject. You see, his 1941 Ford C11AS station wagon is the 25th military vehicle that he has restored and, according to his wife, it will be his last! Ian is totally absorbed in military vehicles and is currently the chairman of the Norfolk Military Vehicle Group, a post he has held for the last seven years, although he has been active with the group since 1990.

We’ll begin by taking a look at exactly what a Ford C11AS station wagon is, before delving into its most interesting history and subsequent restoration.
