TRIPLE TON Brixham lock Adam Thomas, the epitome of a one-club man, notched his 300th senior appearance in the 38-27 defeat by Camborne but retirement is not an option. He said: “As long as I’m fit and capable, I’ll stay available.”
He came through the South-West Premier club’s youth system, made the first team in 2003 and led the club for a decade up to this season.
There’s no place like home and , of Western Counties West, are backing that sentiment by refurbishing their clubhouse for the benefit of their 600-plus members. The current facilities have served the community for more than 60 years in a city where rugby has been played since 1884.
