IS DAIRY REALLY THAT SCARY?

Last year, a study found that only 7% of the British population was following a vegan, dairy-free diet – but that hasn’t stopped sales of plant-based non-dairy “milks” from rocketing. But is giving up cow’s milk really the healthiest option? Or should traditional milk still have a place in the fridge door? We asked the experts…

“Cow’s milk is a complete source of protein, which the body needs for everything from wound healing to making enzymes. Milk also provides all the amino acids – the building blocks of protein.
