ubrovnik is a bustling, medieval city in southern Croatia and is an ideal setting off point for a cruise around the magnificent Elaphiti and Dalmatian islands. The ACI marina is in a deep, well-protected inlet a few miles from the Old Town and has all the facilities of any modern European marina. We collected our Beneteau Oceanis 51 mid-afternoon and, after provisioning in the local supermarket, we sailed out to one of the nearby islands, not wanting to linger around the limestone paved streets of the Old Town which quickly filled up with cruise
