• 7.8m (8 1/2yd) Fabric A (background and border)
• 25cm ( 1/4yd) each of Fabrics B and C
• 30cm ( 3/8yd) Fabric D
• 35cm ( 1/2yd) each of Fabrics E, F and G
• 45cm ( 1/2yd) Fabric H
• 50cm ( 5/8yd) each of Fabrics I, J, K, L and M
• 30cm (12in) square each of Fabrics N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W and X
• 3m (3 3/8yd) extra-wide (275cm/108in) backing fabric. Tone used her Luna wideback in Blue (Fabric NN)
• Fat eighth each of Fabrics Y, Z, AA, BB, CC, DD, EE, FF, GG, HH and II
• Fat quarter each of Fabrics JJ, KK, LL and MM
• 1m (1 1/8yd) Fabric OO (appliqué and binding)
• Batting at least 300 x 250cm (116 x 98in)
• 8m (8 1/2yd) fusible stabiliser
• Disappearing or erasable fabric-marking pen
• Freezer paper
• Water-soluble fabric glue
• DMC Stranded Embroidery Cotton in Cream (712) — three skeins; Very Dark Mocha Brown (3031) — two skeins; Dusty Rose (3733) — three skeins; and Light
Blue Green (3813)
• Threads to match the appliqué shapes
• White dressmaker’s carbon transfer paper
