What is the most effective and safest way to uninstall Mac software that I no longer use? Jag Singh

1 Grab an app

Oh the irony! Go to freemacsoft.net and then download the free AppCleaner app. Launch it and the interface will consist of a small window into which you drag old apps.

2 Select an app

Navigate to your Mac’s Applications folder and drag the icon of an app you no longer want to the AppCleaner window. It will scan for all files associated with that app on your Mac.

3 Remove app

When AppCleaner presents a list of files associated with the app, tick them all and click on ‘Remove’. Enter your username and password and the app will clear out
