Income generation

When I meet new clients for the first time I run through a short slidepresentation that poses the question, “What is your dream?” I want them to think about what they hope to achieve, not just with their finances but in their future life.

A client once questioned this slide and suggested it should say, “What is your nightmare?” In my experience, many people contemplating retirement have fears about what this phase of life is going to look like and are not always focused on what there is to look forward to, such as taking up a new hobby, travelling and spending more time with family.
