Hotly anticipated Melbourne import
Chin Chin has opened in Surry Hills’ landmark heritage-listed Griffiths Teas building. Combining modern Asian food with seriously well considered drinks, Chin Chin Sydney features GoGo, a 100-seat bar, along with the 160-seater restaurant, and Chii Town, a private dining room and events space. The warehouse space, formerly used to store tea, coffee and cocoa, has been designed by George Livissianis, and remains respectful to the bones and personality of the building, while injecting Chin Chin’s signature whimsy into the equation: its trademark neon rabbit ears have been installed.
