The adage that says it does not rain but it pours seems to hold true for South Africa, except that it would not be the rain that pours this time, but more economic woes brought by the lack of rainfall. The South African Weather Service has forecast an El Niño, a phenomenon accompanied by increased probability of below average rainfall and above average temperatures and which limits the amount of rainfall
