Coin To Raise Needed Funds
It looks like France is about to do something that would likely be considered unconstitutional if it were done in the United States. Monnaie de Paris, the mint of France, has recently issued commemorative coins to help raise funds to repair the recent fire-ravaged Cathedral de Notre Dame de Paris.
In the United States commemorative coins have been issued that are earmarked specifically to help fund or commemorate something.
