Q&A With Sydney Grove

HE’S WORKED IN the SA Navy and on the mines in the Free State; he’s even dabbled in radio and broadcasting. He was the first South African male clinical tutor to teach midwifery in South Africa. And when renowned local midwife Sydney Grove walks into a room beaming with warmth and friendliness, it’s easy to see how he’s endeared himself to 25 000 moms and their babies for close to 40 years.
