Irrfan Khan wasn’t just revered as an actor in India, he was admired internationally as well for seamlessly getting under the skin of each character he essayed. He burst into the international scene with Asif Kapadia’s The Warrior (2001), which won the Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film at the BAFTA Awards.
