ROUGH AND ROWDY WAYS : THE READERS VERDICT

We asked what you thought of Dylan’s latest opus…

Damn. Such a great record! Just like standing by him through the patchy ’80s to be rewarded with Oh Mercy and then doing the same in the ’90s for Time Out Of Mind, the last 20 years have been building to this one. Insane. I’m sure Bob will keep us on our toes for another 20 years, but if this happens to be his last – what a perfect epitaph! Just so dense, every song is curious and mysterious and deep, he makes you feel like you’ll never know as much about everything as he does. It’s like an expansive overview of the past 150 years condensed into 70 minutes. Justin Woodford, Melbourne, Australia

…Dylan album has taken me by surprise… it’s just a beautiful record.
