The other Corelli

A keen, if limited, player of the flute, mandolin, clarinet. Set on the Greek island of Kefalonia in World War II, the book became a major hit and later inspired a best-selling CD. Performed by guitarist Craig Ogden and mandolin-player Alison Stephens, featured works by the likes of Vivaldi, Turina, Villa-Lobos and Giuliani, plus sleevenotes written by the author himself.
