Finding our way

At the time of writing, the COVID-19 pandemic is still with us. It may not be as bad as it was, but the situation may yet deteriorate once more. Elements of the Government’s lockdown strategy remain and, in certain regions, areas and specific locations have become more severe than ever.

Elsewhere, however, emergency regulations have been eased. In many places where summer temperatures have exceeded comfortable levels there have been abundant examples of individuals and groups making their own decisions and determinations as to the specifics of the current rules/advice in the light of their own circumstances. It is a state of affairs unprecedented, I venture, in all but a very few of our lifetimes.
