Getting to Know God Jesus is God

The doctrine of the Trinity is what makes Christianity’s monotheism unique. Last month we began a three-part series on the Trinity. We noted how the Bible’s monotheism differs from the monotheism of Islam and Judaism. This month, as we continue to explore the Trinity, we will see the Bible’s distinct teaching about Jesus and the many proofs for why Jesus is God.
The Logos
However, we first need to establish that “Jesus” refers to the man born of the virgin Mary 2000 years ago. The second Person of the Godhead, the Son, has existed from which we translate into English as The Logos became the man, Jesus (John 1:14).
