‘Vigilante’ dad gets 13 years

FARDEEN Karrim, a Chatsworth father, was sentenced to 13 years’ imprisonment for robbing and killing an alleged hit man after a shoot-out in August 2018.

Karrim, 29, of Woodhurst, was arrested and charged with robbery with aggravating circumstances and the murder of Xolani Emmanuel Zungu, 41.

He was also charged with contravention of the Firearms Control Act for the unlawful possession
