I’ll preface my review saying that this book has a good message and is well written. The problem is that SCRIBD categorized it under romance and it is by no stretch of the imagination a romance. The book is a jungle adventure full of peril and many graphically described murders. I found it to be disturbing.

This is for the audiobook presentation. I highly recommend you do not listen to this audiobook if you speak Spanish. The male reader's mispronunciation and bad accent were so distracting (and detracting) that I quit listening soon after I started.

I loved this book. It is written from a strong Christian worldview so if that is not your cup of tea it may not be the book for you but I thought it was excellent. It reminded me of Ann Patchett's book "State of Wonder" without the ending I didn't like.
