About this audiobook
THE BATTLE OF WITS AND LOGIC IS JOINED AGAIN!
STAR TREK®
SPOCK VS. Q
THE SEQUEL
AN ALIEN VOICES® PRODUCTION
STARRING LEONARD NIMOY AND JOHN de LANCIE
Written by Cecelia Fannon
Following their debate over the fate of mankind, Spock and Q have continued their discussions over a meal. After dining, the two return to the stage to recount their repast, which included encounters with several of Spock's former shipmates.
However, at the moment the two verbal sparring partners shake hands, a power surge places them in total darkness. Suddenly, Spock and Q are no longer on stage, but somewhere in deep space.
As they struggle to determine what has happened, a curious personality change takes hold. Spock is overcome with giddy delight. Q is much more serious, even...logical.
Masterfully performed by Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie, Star Trek® Spock vs. Q: The Sequel is a fascinating and often hilarious role reversal that reveals previously unknown sides of Spock and Q. It is a program so original it could only come from Alien Voices®.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I must have said "How I wish Leonard Nimoy would do audiobooks!" dozens of times before I discovered these CDs. I just love his voice so much, especially now that he's older, and these CDs let me listen to him in the car! That aside, they're hilarious. Spock and Q debating the meaning of life? I'm there! Their characters play off of each other very well, I nearly wrecked the car by the end I was laughing so hard.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Audio recording of two live (but rehearsed/written) performances by John de Lancie ("Q") and Leonard Nimoy ("Spock"), as the characters bounce off each other. Extremely well done!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Not as funny as the first, I didn't think. I enjoyed it, did have a few chuckles, but the other offered more depth and insight into the characters. This one ... just played with the deck switched. Not as good.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This short (approx. 1 hour) audio drama was fantastic. Spock and Q meet up again after Q had been ricked into saving the planet earth from an asteroid that spock went back in time to warn humans about, just so he could get Spock's autograph. Spock shakes Q's hand and something mysterious happens, the audience disappears and somehow Q and Spock seem to switch personality(Q being logical and Spock being all over the place, pretty hilarious) and are transported, to an asteroid speeding towards a planet. Sure the gag is old, but its well worth an hour of your time. My only complaint, is its only an hour. I could have had adventures like this for 6 hours or more.
