About this audiobook

The hilariously entertaining third book in the Magic in Manhattan series, following Bras & Broomsticks and Frogs & French Kisses, from the New York Times bestselling author of the Whatever After series!

At long last, Rachel's powers have arrived and she's a bona fide get-your-broom-ready witch! And it's happened just in time. No Manhattan for her this summer-she's spending her vacation at Camp Wood Lake.

But she's having some serious issues:

Mosquitoes in the Adirondacks are incredibly thirsty.

Her stepmom keeps sending embarrassing feminine hygiene care packages.

She accidentally zapped away all her clothes.

And there's a backstabber in her cabin intent on making life miserable.

Good thing Rachel's a witch.

"Will be eagerly grabbed by fans of Bras & Broomsticks and Frogs & French Kisses . . . plenty of entertaining mishaps." -Booklist

3rd in the Magic in Manhattan series. This has Rachel and Miri going away to summer camp. Rachel finally has her own powers and is trying to use them with disastrous results. Rachel makes friends as soon as she gets there but Miri is having problems with the other campers. Rachel does have problems with one girl who turns out to be her cousin, Liana. Liana is a witch also. Rachel is happy that her "BF" is there Raf. But each time she starts to get close with him something bad happens. Parts were very predictable, like Liana being a witch and behind some of the strange goings on. We also finally meet the Aunt who's been eluded to in the past books as well.

When Rachel and her sister spend the summer at Camp Wood Lake, Rachel finds she's having a hard time controlling her new witch powers. Not only does she manage to zap her clothes away, but her cabin has a backstabber who's trying to make her life miserable and root out any of her secrets. Can Rachel get her powers under control without alerting the backstabber? A funny new twist on an old plot. The characters are enjoyable. The setting is well-crafted. Readers who like magic, realistic fiction, and humor will enjoy reading this book.

What a great series. Rachel ends up having magical powers and heads off to camp with her 2 sisters.Of course the magic is used and not in the way that they had hoped when using it. There were some weird turns and twists in this book but it was sooooo cute. I loved it :)I rated it a 5/5

This book is about a girl who has just gotten her magical powers. She finds out that it's not as easy as it looks. Her little sister got her powers before her and she gets a lot of help from her. There are conflicts between them but they soon make up.

While I found the second one of this series to be ho-hum, this is a very fun return to form by Mlynowski. Rachel now has powers and no control and is going to camp. Camp where her maybe boyfriend is and where everything that can go wrong does. I enjoyed this one.

Miri and Rachel go to camp and Rachel immediately hits it off with the girls in her bunk (except Liana), enjoying time with Raf and just enjoying the summer now that she is finally a witch. Miri on the other hand is not enjoying herself at all. She doesn't fit in and just isn't enjoying the great outdoors. And then there's Liana, she is a lot more then what she seems.

Another fun and sometimes stressful read. There were some things that I definitely knew were going to happen but for the most part if was a lot of fun so I can forgive that and the "oh my god why would you do that" feeling this sometimes elicits in me.
