About this audiobook

Ann Silver is a cop’s cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region’s most trusted investigative positions.

Paul Falcon is the FBI’s top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.

Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn’t expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former vice president. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is.…

This was a very different sort of romantic suspense title because neither the romance nor the suspense came easily. Ann Silver meets Paul Falcon when she drops a clue in his hands that will help him solve the murder case of the Lady Shooter that has been on his mind for years. The Lady Shooter killed thirty people over a span of years but then disappeared. Paul is fascinated with Ann but their jobs make it hard for them to get to know each other. It is especially difficult because Ann is such a private person. She reveals herself to him very slowly. He finds out that besides being the Midwest Homicide Investigator she is also an author who has written a number of romances that tell the stories of her friends. He also learns that she is good friends with one his sisters-in-law and a number of people he knows and works with.He is also surprised to learn that she knows the former vice president and is ghost writing his autobiography. Ann has many secrets. That autobiography is filled with revelations that will rewrite some modern history and intimately involves Ann.This story is a bit unusual because it is told primarily from Paul's point of view. Paul is the adopted son of a very powerful and close family. He knows that someday he will be the one in charge of the family. He is very good at his job as an FBI murder cop. He is also a very religious man who has a close personal relationship with God. He has decided that he wants to be married. When he meets Ann and gets to know her, he decides that she is the right one for him. However, convincing her will not be easy.Anne is an introvert who needs large spaces of quiet. Interacting with people makes her tired. While she has a number of close friends, she is careful about the number of people she lets into her life. She knows that maintaining her friendships takes time and effort. She also suffers from nightmares for a reason that she is very reluctant to share with Paul. The two of them have many things in common including their careers in law enforcement and each has a close personal relationship with God. One of the major mysteries in the book for me was whether or not Ann and Paul would ever be together. Ann seemed to put up so many legitimate roadblocks that I was concerned that there wouldn't be a happy ending for the two of them.Fans of relationship stories will enjoy this one. The writing was engaging and the characters were well-drawn and interesting people.

Author Cathy Lynn Bryant • 36 minutes ago Ann Silver is a homicide investigator who deals with the most difficult cases within the United States borders. Though she seems tough on the outside, we learn that she has a fragile side as well. A touching love story in which, from the start, we hope that our leading lady can overcome her secret past in order to love a man who desperately wants into her life.

I've read every Dee Henderson book dozens of time (I would consider her one of my favorite authors), but this book was a disappointment. I felt like the author tried too hard to bring in every character from her previous books, rather than letting this stand on it's own. The O'Malleys show up...but as different characters with their "real names" and as friends of the main character who happens to write books about them. The main character was too similar to the bio that dee henderson has released for herself and I felt like the book was about her! (but fictionalized). There were several subplots that never tied back together well. I felt unsatisfied when I finished reading this book.

This book is so well written. A crime series that will not give me nightmares. It points back to God and trusting in Him. Characters are well thought out. The series is a new addition to my favorites.

Although it wasn't a page turner for me, I thought it quite good. Asd far as I'm concerned, she could have left the romance out. I didn't find it offensive, I just don't care for romance novels.

I have totally loved listening to every chapter of this book. And feel very much in love with BLACKtheir pooch, the moment he appeared. The balance between romance and mystery is 1perfect. And Paul's attention to Ann's emotional needs, is absolutely beautiful, and pretty much, what every woman wants from her man.
Brilliant. Definitely 5 stars ? from me

Once again, Henderson manages to grab your attention from the start. There are (loosely) two stories going on at the same time, but full of layers. Will Ann learn to trust Paul? Will Paul peel back the layers that make up Ann?

This book was slow to start, but once the storyline revved up, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It didn't really read like vintage Dee Henderson to me--she attempts to tie her past work to this book's main character--which makes me wonder how much of Ann is autobiographical.

I thought a bit too much time was taken in the set up and the exploring of Paul's interest in Ann at the beginning and the case that Ann had brought to him really didn't progress much in those first chapters.

I have waited a long time for Dee's new book, she made it well worth the wait.

Ann, is the author of the Omalley series that dee wrote years ago. It was a great new twist.

This was the story of Paul and Ann. Ann is a unique character - very focus driven and multi talented in. Any years. She meets Paul as she hands over a case to Paul. Paul decides to try and learn more about her, it is almost too crazy to think they have never met as many of Paul's friend are also Ann's. each friend offers a different description of her to give Paul a clearer understanding of Ann.

Love that the dog has a good role but wonder if God should of had a bigger role.
Still a few unanswered questions Burt nothing I can't live with or would stop me from suggestion isn't you read this book.

I received “Full Disclosure” by Dee Henderson through the early release program. At first I found the story very hard to get into with it's many details, almost finding it boring at times due to the constant play by play details of the cases being solved. It wasn't until halfway through the book that I started to get pulled in by the cat and mouse game between agent Falcon and detective Ann Silver. Falcon's relentless search into the secrets of Ann's life felt a little creepy, controlling maybe. The mystery that unfolds throughout the book in between the romance that was developing between Ann and Paul kept the book interesting. There were many twists and turns in the plot and even until the end the true victim and the true perpetrator were hard to guess. Very complicated story but still a good read.

After a long wait, Dee Henderson has returned to her writing glory! Full Disclosure was well worth the wait!Paul Falcon is a Special Agent that has re-landed in the middle of a serial murder case that he has been trying to solve for years. Ann Silver, a Homicide Investigator in the Midwest, has conveniently dropped new compelling evidence in his lap that just might finally help them solve the case. Deciding to trust Ann's instincts and information, Paul finds himself want to get to know Ann more and more. After all, he is slated to take over as head of the family and will need a good wife to help him carry on the Falcon legacy. Ann, on the other hand, has quite a few skeletons in the closet and doesn't know that she can live up to the expectations placed on her by Paul. In addition to all that's happening with their relationship, Paul ends up investigating a high-profile case, one that he soon learns is wrapped up with Ann's secrets and skeletons. Will they both make it out unscathed, or will Ann's secrets be too much for Paul to bear? Both soon learn that only God can answer those questions, as long as they trust him to do so.Full Disclosure will keep you on the edge of your seat. The suspense and action will keep you turning the pages, while the very realistic lives of the characters will keep you grounded and focused. I certainly hope we do not have to wait a long time for more books by Ms. Henderson. IN fact, I hope she comes out with more books about the Falcon family as there's a few more characters I'd like to meet. You'll love this book-especially if you enjoy a fast-paced read. Full Disclosure by Dee HendersonDee Henderson’s new novel is one of political intrigue with a touch of romance, a nail biter for sure.I really enjoyed the story especially because I finally was able to convince my hubby(a conservative political nut) to read the story after I did. I loved to hear his conjectures at the various twists and turns the novel took; some ideas that mirrored mine and some way off the chart. The story focuses mainly on three people. Ann Silver is the Midwest Homicide Investigator and very happy with her single life. Paul Falcon is an FBI Special Agent and go to man for high profile murders. He is a bachelor determined not to marry anyone in law enforcement. The Lady Shooter, the third character in the trio, is a hired gun responsible for numerous murders and has dropped off the radar in recent years. The Lady Shooter case has gone cold when Ann shows up with information about a car crash that just might be the lead Paul’s been needing in his quest to capture The Lady Shooter. Through twists, turns and many surprises Dee Henderson takes us on a roller coaster ride through her newest book. I don’t want to tell too much about the book and take away from the reader’s enjoyment of discovering the gems for themselves.I especially appreciate how Dee ties in characters from other books and also gives us brief glimpses into who she, Dee Henderson the person, is.I figured out most of the story before the ending. But having said that, I believe it’s because I’ve read literally thousands of books, watched hundreds of movies and have written several stories of my own. My husband, however, was kept guessing to the end and most of his guesses were entertaining since I knew the ending. One aspect of Ann’s life I genuinely related to was her desire, if not deep, deep need for alone time. This is something I have greatly struggled with; how to accommodate this need and yet still stay in tune to my family and their desires. I truly enjoyed (and may copy) Dee’s answer to Ann’s struggle to maintain employment and friendships while still providing desperately needed down and alone time.I received this book free from The Library Thing in exchange for an unbiased review.

Dee Henderson has written such a great novel. I had never read one of her books before, and I was greatly impressed. The plot was well written with so many twists and turns. It was hard to put down especially at the end as she wrapped up the mysterious secrets. If you like a good murder mystery, I would highly recommend this novel.

There were some odd sentiments in this novel, almost like the author was trying to write what she thought people expected, not characters who were 'real'... for example, Ann is explained as having only a handful of good friends but her limit is 30-40. In what world is 30-40 people considered a handful of good friends? And don't forget, she's spent tons of time "carefully selecting" them. And Paul wants a wife at home, and some kids. But Ann's within a few months of 40. Not a lot of 40 year old women still able to have "some kids". Sure - one, maybe two if he stops spending so much time asking other people about her, and starts actually speaking TO her so they can move along their relationship.Way too many coincidences... Ann knows Paul's best friend and co-worker, hangs out with another of his coworkers, and used to hang out with his brother's wife, and yet he never met her in the past, say, 16 years? She's in the same line of work, same state, knows everyone he does, and yet he's never heard hide nor hair of her before. Uh-huh.And Paul's "pursuit" of Ann was so calculated and planned (he was just shy of having a checklist for her characteristics) that there was no "spark" or dynamics there that grabbed the reader. It's like Paul was shopping for a new car... oh, I mean a new wife, wait... actually...I have never read this author before, so I wasn't aware that the book excerpts within this novel were actually from other novels by this author. I guess this means that Ann in this novel is supposed to represent the author, or what the author thinks she is. This might explain why Ann is so perfect and yet so distant.Of course, it is Christian fiction so there's no foul language, no graphic anything, and regular (and relatively non-interuptive) references to God and religious piety.Hmmm... my review seems harsh. I actually really liked the storyline in regards to the hunt for the killer, and the way the dialogue was written (very believable conversations)... I just felt the relationship between Paul and Ann very clinical and stilted and since it's supposed to be a romantic novel, I expected there to be a greater sense of... well... romance...

This is the story of a romance between Paul Falcon, an FBI agent and Ann Silver, a murder investigator/writer that begins when Ann brings a motor vehicle death to Paul’s attention. Working part time as a small town police chief, when the wreck occurs near her town, Ann tracks the driver’s identity enough to know that he appears to have a link to a long time contract killer. Paul has tracked the contract killer for years. When Paul meets Ann, his personal interest is hooked. As a long time Dee Henderson fan, I was thrilled to read her new book, and she has definitely out done herself. The romance reads like a manual for best practices for knowing your future mate in a way that precludes future marital problems. The concurrent story of the tracking of the killer, along with the continuing drama of Falcon’s large family, and a retired Vice President’s involvement with a serial killer create a deep full novel. This book is over 400 pages of twists and turns with the main characters’ discussions of their deep relationships with the Lord. Excellent development of characters, along with a full, rich story. I would recommend this to anyone looking for Christian romantic suspense that pulls at the heart and the mind with intensity.

Ann Silver as the Midwest Homicide Investigator (MHI) drops a case into FBI Agent Paul Falcon's lap that could be just what he needs to break a case that his team has been working on for awhile now. Ann intrigues Paul and as the case goes forward they are connected in ways that are surprising (to us as readers too). It takes a bit of time to get into the story as the case slowly unfolds with twists that leave you really guessing and being so surprised. The relationship between Ann and Paul was strange and at first I was not sure I even liked them together.I liked them fine as cops, separate from each other, their romance was very unemotional and business like. I did love the dog! This was just an okay read for me, the O'Malley and "True" series were much better.Thank you to Bethany House Publishers and LibraryThing Early Reviewers for this book.

I was disappointed by this book. The beginning grabbed my attention and I was really enjoying the story until about halfway through when I started to bog down. I couldn't tie-in the references to books Anne had written with the plot of this story. The amount of time spent on characters talking about how amazing Ann was became annoying, especially since I wasn't finding her character that wonderful. Finally the "action" plot was too contrived for me. I received this book as an Early Reviewer from LibraryThing.

A storyteller tells a story about a storyteller. In FULL DISCLOSURE, suspense author Dee Henderson weaves a richly satisfying tale that likens writing fiction to solving homicides. Fiction or murder, it's all in the telling of the story. Rural cop and regional homicide investigator Ann Silver works the cases that puzzle local law enforcement. FBI Special Agent Paul Falcon leads the bureau’s Midwest homicide unit. When Ann hands off a case to Paul that seemingly touches a long sought serial killer investigation of his, they work together to solve the crimes. The more they work together, the more they learn about each other, and the more they know, the more their attraction for one another grows. But will identifying and capturing a serial killer bring them together or tear them apart?Henderson seemingly blurs the lines between real life and fiction. A few tongue-in-cheek references to Ann’s life appear to come straight out of the author's own, like the fact that this heroine’s written fifteen previous books, including a series entitled The O'Malleys, same as Henderson. Since Silver's fiction is about friends near and dear, one wonders about the inspiration for Henderson's own O'Malleys. But a greater question begins to loom. How much of the real-life Henderson is in the fictional Ann Silver? This larger than life story question adds a particular deliciousness to an already pleasing tale and keeps the reader turning pages, hunting for real-life clues as much as for fictional ones.Still, the suspense of chasing and capturing an elusive serial killer is story enough. Falcon is a man’s man, a bachelor ready to alter his life with a committed, long-term relationship. Silver, however, isn’t sure love and marriage are in the cards for her. Maybe it’s her job. Maybe she’s just not cut out for them. Maybe the secrets she holds are too much of an impediment for any man. Paul must use the same wiles he uses to catch a killer to draw and not repel Ann, who is no less hard to pin down. FULL DISCLOSURE is a riveting read, filled with suspense and twists that no matter how well the reader guesses will still come laced with surprise, one of the year’s best tales of suspense.

As much as I hate to admit it, Full Disclosure was the first book by Dee Henderson that I completed. It's not my typical literary fare, but after writing a book that included mystery/suspense, I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. I found the story to be well thought out and without unexplainable plot holes. Her characterizations were rich. I connected with her heroine's (Ann Silver) introversion and ability to be happy and content apart from others, yet still able to have satisfying relationships. The hero (Paul Falcon) is not only likable, but worthy of hero status. The ending kept me guessing, though on more than one occasion I thought I had it figured out. I wasn't completely surprised by the ending, but there was enough of a surprise to make me glad I read the book. All negatives I have are pretty minor. The overuse of pronouns (he, she) bothered me enough to pull me from the story on more than one occasion. Also, the dialogue tended to ramble in places without much clue as to facial expressions, movements and/or dialogue cues, and I found myself having to move back in the story to see who was speaking. There were a few places where the POV switched briefly within a scene, and though I loved the characters, I didn't find them flawed enough to come across as completely realistic. Although the characters were Christians and referenced their relationship to God and His Spirit, I wish there had been more showing of their dependence on God during tough decisions in their life, especially when it came to decisions about such a huge decision as marriage.Overall, I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to others. I give it four out of five stars.Disclaimer: I received this book for free from the publisher for review purposes. The opinion expressed is my own and not affected by the fact that I received the book free of charge.

I enjoyed this book very much; enough suspense and twists and turns to make it interesting. While the long distance romance was interesting, it seemed a little flat, too.... I found the Ann Silvers character to be very interesting, lot of buildup and mystery about her character as Falcon learns alot about her from her friends. But I found it hard to reconcile this 'intriguing' person with the wishy washy indecisive person she became as their relationship evolved. It didn't seem to jive with all the buildup about Ann's unique character. I would recommend this book as a good read, good plot.
