      Guess the series had to end because there was no one left to murder on the island. Lots of murders over the series for what seemed to be a small community. This last book was my least favorite. The accomplice didn't seem believable to me.

      I wish I had known that this was book 4 of a series. I found the characters confusing because I did not know the history behind them. The story was too predictable. The more the finger pointed to a suspect the more sure I was that it was a false lead. The relationships were nice, but I just couldn’t connect with any of the characters. Not a bad read, just not her best.

Police chief Cade a cop finds a murdered girl, but situation is a copy-cat of a scene from one of the novels - characters not entirely believable, but continuity from a series is good.
