- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This story was just okay to me. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I don't see why Clary and Simon needed a whole poisoning of water to realize they're parabatai, like, anyone could see that without the trippy scene in New York. It's still a good story and I can see how it moves the over all story line along, but I probably wouldn't read this one again. 3 out of 5 stars. I would still recommend it though because there is some stuff here that you probably need to know for the two last stories in this series.
