Harry Palmer (Pseud.) travels to Finland for chilly romance, and keep the two superpowers from falling to blows over the virus held by a crazy billionaire. It's a fun read.

Fast paced - if far fetched and somewhat dated. There are the origins of Bernard Sansom in the unnamed narrator of this book - the sardonic approach to authority and the quiet efficiency with which he operates suggest this. However, the voice is not quite so clear, and the far fetched plot means this is not up to the level he attains later.
