About this audiobook

Debut novelist Michele Grant pens a juicy tale in Heard It All Before. Best friends Jewellen and Renee think they know Dallas men like the backs of their hands. But that's before Jewellen unexpectedly falls for a guy from the wrong side of the tracks, and Renee gets lured away from her own man by a hard-bodied hottie.

I really enjoyed this book.. being that I currently live in north Dallas (Frisco) hearing the mention of the differences in the areas was entertaining. I read the series in reverse but enjoyed getting the full story on Renee (who annoyed me beyond words), jewel, Rome, George and Veronica. Only thing that annoyed me was the constant reference to grown men as boys otherwise great book!

The testimonials on here DID NOT live up to the book. The book started out boring and slow...slowly it picked up....iI suffered through it to the end. The stupid pet names "playa" throughout the book was annoying. The book was predictable. I would recommend only if u have nothing else to listen/read.

This book was pretty good. It's about a group of women who are friends who are looking for love. This book tells the story from the female point of the story and then the males point of the story. It's the typical successful black female who meets a successful black male who still lives in the hood. Successful black female who is self absorbed and a gold digger, nothing awe about this story, but it's cute.
