About this audiobook
She should never have said ‘yes’…
When Beatrice said she wanted to publish her next novel under Emma’s name, Emma couldn’t believe it. Why on earth would Beatrice Johnson Greene, the famous crime writer, not want to publish her new book as herself?
This time, Beatrice explained, she wanted to write something different, and publish it as an unknown author. She was too famous—and she needed Emma’s help.
After everything Beatrice had done for her, Emma could hardly refuse. But what was meant to be a favour has turned into a betrayal, and now Emma has done something terrible, something shocking, and the consequences are terrifying…
Revised edition: This edition of Until I Met Her includes editorial revisions.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The narration is so stilted and juvenile I just can’t continue. A shame as this one gets good reviews

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I feel like if you are a writer you would really enjoy this from the start. The narrator was ridiculously robotic and it drove me crazy until things picked up around chapter 20. After chapter 20, it got really exciting so I didn't even worry about the sound of her voice and the book ended beautifully. I wanted to slap the main character so many times, which I guess means that the writer did her job!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed the story quite a bit. The reason I only gave it 4 stars though is due to the reader. She was very robotic. There were times when I thought "Alexa" was reading the story. Other than that I enjoyed it.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Really good book, entertaining the whole way through. However the narrator was a bit mechanical at times, and in the beginning I almost stopped listening, but I pushed through and am glad I did!!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Enjoyed the book but the narration was horrible. It was so robotic that I truly thought it was Siri reading. Kept listening because some reviewers said it would get better, no it didn’t. I am looking forward to the second book and thank goodness it’s a different reader.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really enjoyed this book. There were lots of twists and turns throughout, and the ending didn't disappoint. Although in the beginning, the narrator's reading was very robotic until she really got into the story, then it improved.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was interesting with lots of twist but an unsatisfying conclusion as the protagonist gets away with murder.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I listened to this in one day. You'd have to be superhuman NOT to.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book started strong. Loved the characters and the outline of it. I started getting bored a little over halfway through the book. Just like it was dragging a bit, however, I'm glad I stuck through it. Really enjoyed the ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The main character is a crazy bitch and I rooted for her the whole time!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The narration was awful!! Way too over pronunciated. Couldn't get past the first chapter.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5No comment on the story - I couldn’t even make it far enough to have an opinion. The narration is that awful. She sounds like an old computer attempting to read text out loud. Every word is an overly-annunciated separate staccato sound. Such an awkward cadence.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Unlikeable characters, all of them. But story kept my attention. Good narrator.
