Darkness of Dragons (Wings of Fire #10)
Author

Tui T. Sutherland

Tui T. Sutherland & Kari Sutherland are sisters and best friends, and if you can’t tell by looking at them which one is older, Tui certainly isn’t going to tell you. They grew up in South America, traveling a lot and moving several times (and they’re still only about 80 percent certain that their parents weren’t secret agents). Kari now lives in California, while Tui lives in Boston, but they use every excuse they can to see each other (like, say, writing a book together).

I love these books without a doubt my favorite. If you didn’t notice umbers LGBTQIA+ in book six and have a problem with it dont bother reading the rest. Umber has a crush on Qibli this is not a spoiler at this point if you didn’t notice, that’s your problem. Also QINTER QINTER QINTER

    IS THIS THE END!?

Something is coming to shake the earth.

Something is coming to shake the ground.

Jade Mountain will fall beneath thunder and ice.

Unless the lost city of night can be found.

I have enjoyed the Wings of Fire series so much it driving me crazy. Tui is such a good author I love how through the entire book it’s twist and turns.

But still it pains me so much that Moon ends up with Kibly over Winter.

Favorite book of the series so far, having also read the next two. Qibli and Darkstalker bounce off each fantastically, every scene between the two of them left me enraptured. I also appreciate Qibli’s ability to realize the obvious (a problem the wings of fire protagonists have tended to have ever since I began reading these in 5th grade). Still, Darkstalker is a magnificent, charismatic villain, and this book is great finale for the 2nd arc
