About this audiobook
The Illustrated Man, a seminal work in Ray Bradbury's career, whose extraordinary power and imagination remain undimmed by time's passage.... Ray Bradbury brings wonders alive. For this peerless American storyteller, the most bewitching force in the universe is human nature. In these eighteen startling tales unfolding across a canvas of tattooed skin, living cities take their vengeance, technology awakens the most primal natural instincts, and dreams are carried aloft in junkyard rockets. Provocative and powerful, The Illustrated Man is a kaleidoscopic blending of magic, imagination, and truth--as exhilarating as interplanetary travel, as maddening as a walk in a million-year rain, and as comforting as simple, familiar rituals on the last night of the world.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5There's no one like Bradbury to conjure up science-fiction scenes of such clarity, poetry and depth, that they reflect all our longings and fears about the future and about ourselves. The narrator was also perfect from start to finish, making those illustrations come even more alive!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5the narration of the book is superb. I recommend this audiobook
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Timeless stories told in a clear, expressive voice. Travel on the wings of Bradbury’s words through the past, present and future, on this planet and all planets, through the “corrugated lines” of time and space.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Even thou they are good short stories they are too similar to each other. Plus I personally like to get attach to the characters but that chance doesn't exist in this book doesn't
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book is a collection of short stories about rocket ships and Mars. I felt it to be very outdated. The rockets are inevitably exciting just to be on board, Mars is old and deadish, and space is lonely. Also, there are no meteors in space; only asteroids big and small.
