- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I think this is probably one of the best books in the series. The series of all eight books is enjoyable but does begin to feel a little repetitive however this is quite stand out book to me.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This was a romanticized/somewhat erotic version of a Cinderella story.
Thought i liked the plot, the writing of Benedict was just bad! He was just 1 dimensional, just keeping his part and thinking only of himself. Not to mention he was projecting his own insecurities onto her.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Weakest story so far. The reasons keeping Sophie and Benedict apart are trite, even for a romance novel. This book also lacks the humor and wit of the previous two Bridgerton novels, which would have made up for the silly Big Obstacles they faced. A fairly forgettable story, overall.

Looking forward to next story1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This very Cinderella-esque retelling was fun, but not my favorite of the series. Benedict, for as much as he disliked other people taking advantage of Sophie, seemed like he kinda was too. He's basically her employer (through his mother) and yet he keeps propositioning her after she's said no for reasons that make sense to her. The power dynamic made me a little uncomfortable in this one.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So far in this series, This book is my favorite.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of the better stories in the series! Although a common trope, it was done well in this book. Believable, likeable main characters. Highly recommended!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really loved it! Narration was excellent! And my favourite part was epilog about Posy!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5A lot of audio skips in this version. Good story though
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this book more than the second but the first book in the series is still my favorite
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5ok... things are getting bette with each book! the second is still my favorite; but something that is eating me alive is not the interrogant about what will happened to de other bridgeton... BUT WHO THE HELL IS LAIDY WHISTLEDOWN !!!!! i already have someone in mind... but i don't know for sure yet.... hope am right!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great book! This audio had a few spaces where it was playing but there was no
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5another master piece! This is really one unique novel from the Bridgerton series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I couldn’t wait for the happy ending. I cried reading this book.

I like Benedict. Being the “Second Son”, he doesn’t have the responsibility of his older brother, but he still kinda lives in his shadow as a Bridgerton. Plus, he is so witty and sarcastic, making him my of the boys thus far.
Sophie is a strong character that makes it through impossible olds for her HEA. Definitely enjoyed seeing a new twist on the “Cinderella” story. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The book is OK It’s a bit of a Cinderella story not to bad
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is my favorite of the series so far (and I accidentally listened to “To Sir Philip With Love” out of order). I love the twist on the Cinderella story, and it was a nice break from the formula of, “enemies to friends find themselves compromised and must get married, but fall in love anyway.” Sophie was a relatable and endearing character for those of us who can’t identify with the life of privilege the aristocracy enjoys. It was a lot of fun and I had trouble putting it down. Or turning it off.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Spoiler alert - if you do not want to know about the future of other Bridgerton's in the series, do not listen to the 2nd epilogue .
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it! I could not stop smiling reading this. ☺️
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Bridgerton series are one of the best! ?❤️ Highly recommended
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Wonderfully narrated! Entertaining take on this classic. Julia Quinn has a great way with words as she makes it very entertaining and gives us good glimpses of other characters for the next books in this series.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Pretty okay book. Nice twist on the Cinderella story. And an easy read that even made me laugh a few times.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I liked this bridgerton book a lot more than I thought I would. Cinerella with a deeper plot and several twists that had me gasping. The suspense meant I couldn't put it down. Love it!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5With all the scary crazy things going on in the world today, it is so refreshing to listen to a book that is pure delight & funny too.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is the best so far! Hardly could believe you could improve on a Cinderella story and make it so original! I loved the second follow up story and definitely cried! Such a beautiful happy ending!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I wish their was an ebook, I really enjoyed it!
Will be listening for the rest ❤️❤️❤️ - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Audiobook: Narrator - Rosalyn Landor
I’m officially a fan of this narrator! She does an exceptional job of bringing the characters to life in a way that pulls me completely into the book to the point I don’t want to pause or stop the story. Her accent is such that I don’t need to adjust the speed or struggle to understand it. She also does a great job of distinguishing between the various characters both male and female.
I loved the Cinderella feel of this story but I especially loved the way Benedict was totally taken by his lady in silver through the years. That kind of dedication is exactly what I look for. Sophie was a strong heroine even when she was being beaten down by her circumstances. When Benedict came along, she knew who she was and what she wanted (or didn't want) in life and stuck to it.
I’m loving all the Bridgertons and I’ve refused to look ahead at the series and I’m not reading blurbs so I’m going in blind and that’s making this all the more fun. I can’t help but queue up the next book immediately. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sophie Beckett, recently lost her birth father, and even though he never acknowledged her as his daughter, he still made sure she was cared for until he passed away, and she was left with his wife and step daughters, and was treated more like a servant/slave than how she should have been treated. One night she has a opportunity to go to a ball, where she dresses up like a princess and feeling more beautiful and desirable than she ever has before. On this night she meets Benedict, one of the infamous Bridgertons, and shares a passionate kiss, one that will remain burned in her memory forever. Sophie knows that she can never be a part of Benedict's life, but then through a chain of events, she is thrown in his path once more, and knows that she will love him even though she knows they can never have a future together...An Offer From A Gentleman, is the third in the Bridgerton series. I have just loved reading this series, and this was the first time I was able to read this book ( I know...crazy huh)But I was in the mood for a cinderella type of story, and this one fit the book....I was totally satisfied with this one. I loved every page, every paragraph and sentence. Julia Quinn is one of my favorite historical romance authors....there is a unique way about her writing that is much different from any other....where her stories just draw in her readers and its like you have this compulsion to not let go of the book until you have finished reading it. It had a truly magical side to it, an Enchanting Love Story that will Captivate you!!!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Love the plot. Made me feel angry and all the hurt that the main character had to feel. Hatted the step mother. Loved the cinderella story and love the end. Thank you for writing emotional books couldn't stop listening.
