      ...what? What? WHAT? NNOO!!

      That was my actual reaction upon reaching the end of this book. I wasnt expecting to like this book as much as I did because of the magic elements. Usually a magic system is set up to be both too complex and overly complicated with too many rules and exceptions amd twists and hard to follow happenings. But the magical elements here are simple to follow - earth, air, fire, water and spirit. The romance was not over done to where there wasn't a plot. It was a good blend of action, horror, romance and magic.

      I only wish the author remembered that I have feelings and not all of them need to be shattered at once. Good read, and now I'll pace back and forth and growl occasionally until I get the next one.
