      This was a true rom-com. Loved the writing, the banter and the characters. Reasons for events or issues in the book were actually believable, unlike some other stories I've read. The book's tone almost had a Bridget Jones Diary feel to it in parts which i enjoyed. Great writing! I especially loved the male main character's personality and back story. The situation with the main female character's boss really kept me guessing as to how it was going to fizzle out. Worth the read and re-read.

      Really well written, I found myself laughing multiple times, even sharing some parts with my husband. I was pleasantly surprised with all of it. I’ll be listening to everything from this author!

      HANDS DOWN ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITES!!!! I LOVED THAT THERE WAS SO MUCH HUMOR AND IT WASN'T YOUR TYPICAL PREDICABLE ROMANCE. THE SCOTTISH ACCENT DEFINITELY ADDED TO THE STORY

      Quite possibly on of the best romance books I've listened to. It was so refreshing to read a story where the protagonist isn't 18 anda skinny slip of a thing. This story hit every mark, and the narrorator was perfect.

      J.T. Geissinger wrote such a sweet ending to this spicy read.

      Cam and Joellen crashed into each other's lives with a base of loud music and a shepherd's pie. Joellen's an older, curvier woman and never thought she would fall for the rugby-playing Scot living temporarily across the hall in her neighbour's apartment. Cam quickly finds out about Joellen's crush on her boss who's quickly ended up back on the market and Cam graciously offers to be her pretend crush.

      Cam has a rugged, domineering sports personality but has an extremely soft side that melts my heart. He is the complete opposite of Joellen but ticks every box she needs and she doesn't even realise it. Joellen is adamant that she and Michael are the perfect fit and nothing can side-track her from this until Cam starts to infiltrate her every thought. Cam is one hot Scot and he definitely knows how to make another man jealous when the time comes.

      I really wanted more of the spice. It was definitely a slow burn but it was a tiny bit short on the tension. The build-up just wasn't hitting all the marks when it needed to. Everyone seemed to be some form of English in this American-based book. I found that very odd initially but I quickly got past this when I fell in love with Cam. The scene with Michael also seemed to be a bit out of the blue, there was some hinting towards the reveal but once this happened it just seemed to disappear after the meeting. It became a bit rushed but the ending really had the potential to add more and it did to a certain extent but it was just too short.

      To say that I love this book is an understatement. From the first chapter to the last, Mrs. Geissinger had me hooked. JoEllen Bixby, is one of the most relatable female characters I have ever read. I have never felt so seen by an author. The body positive aspect of this book will forever be my favorite part. This book is not only charming, sexy, and funny, it’s also full of heartwarming body positivity that women need to hear. The world needs more Cameron McGregors’! I LOVE THIS BOOK!
