About this audiobook
Lizzie Dixon's life feels as though it's fallen apart. Instead of the marriage proposal she was hoping for from her boyfriend, she is unceremoniously dumped, and her job is about to go the same way. So, there's only one option: to go back home to the village she grew up in and to try to start again.
Her best friend Jemma is delighted Lizzie has come back home as she has just bought a little cafe and Lizzie's sewing skills are just what she needs to help get it ready for the grand opening.
With a new venture and a new home, things are looking much brighter for Lizzie. But can she get over her broken heart, and will an old flame reignite a love from long ago...?
For everyone who loves settling down to watch Great British Bake-Off, the Great British Sewing Bee, or curling up to read Milly Johnson or Jenny Colgan,The Cherry Tree Cafe is a coffee-break treat.

'The Cherry Tree Cafe is every bit as delicious as the cover promises. Drop in for a minute, and the fabulous world of the crafting cafe wraps itself around you, pulling you in right from the first page. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not my favourite of her books but still enjoyable. Didn’t feel as much of a connection with the romantic duo as I would have liked

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Light and easy, but I marked it down because there was too much manufactured conflict for the sake of drama. I don’t think it was needed, the characters could have gotten where they were going story wise without it. When you are reading something for the sake of the light and fluffy happy feeling, the ridiculous conflict takes away from this. If you think I’m being dramatic myself, I can think of six examples of this in the story off the top of my head. Still worth a read though.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Ugh, this one was hard to get through. Unlikeable main character, lack of romance development, and just downright annoying story. I've read better from her.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The audio skips a lot, almost to the point where I lost the story ?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5If you've read one of her books you get the pattern. Same type of plots, different names.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Nice, easy read/listen. I don’t think the male love interest’s character was developed very well, but I still enjoyed the story!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Light hearted story really enjoyed it. Off to next read!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great storyline!! I am really enjoying this author a lot.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Tried and tried to connect with the lead female and just couldn’t. While the camaraderie the besties had seemed lovely, the deceptions never seemed fully resolved as it ended rather abruptly. I’ve read others by this author so will try again with her writing.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book had so much potential!! But the main character was very annoying and dare I say stupid during the 2nd half. I could not wait to just get it over with. Several times I rolled my eyes and wanted to slap her.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Comparing this to Jennifer Colgan is like buying European chocolate and finding out its made by Hershey’s...
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I didn 't get to know leading male character. I had some unanswered questions about his money situation and job at the end. Good book but not enough description to get to know his personality, thoughts, charcter.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fun, light beach or sitting by the pool reading or listening.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A nice light easy read. A very pleasurable book.
? - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A quick read that deals with a woman heartbroken heading home and rebuilding her life in her hometown. I enjoyed the setting up of the cafe and the craft element.
