      This book was very unrealistic as it relates to the actions of the main character. It was very hard to believe that as an accomplished police officer she would be so stupid. It really made it hard for me to enjoy the book. Don’t get me wrong, there were some entertaining sub plots and the “villain” was not easily predicted. But the main character was extremely hypocritical as she managed and gave advice to her subordinates; advice she herself could have followed and made things a lot easier. She was just a bit too incompetent for my liking.

      Very good, I’ve just found this author I think she’s fab! I have read the perfect mother too which was excellent .. ready to down load my next! Worth a listen it’s so good. Narrator is brilliant too

      Well written detective story. I wasn’t a huge fan of the narrator though her male characters were good.
