About this audiobook

Neil Josten is out of time. He knew when he came to PSU he wouldn't survive the year, but with his death right around the corner he's got more reasons than ever to live.

Befriending the Foxes was inadvisable. Kissing one is unthinkable. Neil should know better than to get involved with anyone this close to the end, but Andrew's never been the easiest person to walk away from. If they both say it doesn't mean anything, maybe Neil won't regret losing it, but the one person Neil can't lie to is himself.

He's got promises to keep and a team to get to championships if he can just outrun Riko a little longer, but Riko's not the only monster in Neil's life. The truth might get them all killed-or be Neil's one shot at getting out of this alive.

I don't have all the words at the moment but it was amazing. The ending was a beautiful summary and the book never had a dull moment.

The story was quite interesting but I felt like they dragged it way too long rather unnecessarily. We also did not see the development of Neil and Andrew's relationship until the end we did not see depth of feeling. We also did not see Aaron and Andrew mending their brotherly relationship or Coach Wymack and Kevin developing their father-son relationship. The only relationship that significantly developed was the Team's relations with each other and team unity and they also developed professionally from a lowly ranked team to a champion. A lot was left unsaid and incomplete yet the story spun 3 Books.

This series is perfect. The plot closes soundly, the main characters are fully fleshed out and every interaction is genuine. All in the Game is worth it no matter what format you choose.

This is my second time enjoying these books; and they are just as wonderful as I remembered. One thing that really sets this series apart from other YA series is the outstanding character development in the second and third books. I definitely will be reading it again in the future! Btw, one of my favorite romances of all-time <3

Wow, I actually finished a series are you guys proud of me?
I enjoyed this as a conclusion to this series. I liked how it all ended and I had a good time reading this book. Once again some of the sports stuff bothered me because it was so off but it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the book. I liked how the characters interacted in this book and I liked the development we saw in the relationships between various characters. There were some twists that didn't seem to have as big of an impact in the story as I thought they would and some of the action sequences seemed to move very quickly and be over very soon after they started. This was a fun book to read and as a conclusion to this series, I liked it. This series was one I quite enjoyed. I'm glad I read it and I glad I finished it.

Neil Josten is back on campus, more than a bit worse for wear. He took on his rival to keep his teammates safe, whether they like it or not. And he hopes it will be enough to keep Riko off their backs until the end of the season. Because he doesn't expect to be alive must past that.

But something's happened since Neil's been with the Foxes. His desire to run isn't quite as strong. And then there's Andrew. His hard-to-read exterior isn't quite a difficult for Neil to decipher as it is for everyone else. And there are moments when he thinks there's something there. But even if there's not, Neil won't be coming back from the summer, right?

As the season progresses, Neil thinks that just maybe he can pull through. But he seems to have forgotten that there's more than one person that's been after him. And secrets can only be kept buried for so long...

    ---

If you want to talk about slow burn, this is up there as the ultimate. Third book in the series before the relationship between Andrew and Neil that's been building at an almost painful pace finally has some sparks. But don't get me wrong: it's all worth it. There's so much dysfunction here that it almost drips off the page, but I find myself devouring every scene.

My only complaint is that I wish there was more. Kind of disappointing to see this one end.

    Content warning: violence.

I wasn't sure what I was going to think of this series when i began it, but I was drawn in and pulled along through the three books. It was a typical trilogy--backstory followed by crisis and completed with tying all the parts together. The author did a great job of bringing us to a rightful ending. I thought the characters were well fleshed out over the series. Each character had a defined personality and the author blended them together well. My only negative critique might be that some of the characters were too easily defined throughout the series. That being said would recommend this book and the series to anyone.

Take everything from the last two books, and intensify it by 100. Now you have The King's Men!

Surprisingly, this book feels a lot softer than its precedents. The first book felt like a being dropped on a highway and being told to run; the second was driving 100 mph on that same highway and hitting the gas; and this one is like being pushed from an airplane. There's this moment of softness, where everything is floating and you feel okay, before the panic sets in and you land smack into the ground.

But somehow, you are able to pick yourself back up.

My main critique of the series had been the lack of actual sports play, and there is more sport in this one, enough to satisfy my desire. There's also more focus on the softer, more gentle side of the relationships between all these characters, and everyone becomes thoroughly human and strangely lovable. If you didn't love everyone already, you will love them all by the end of this book, I swear. And then there's the relationship that I'm sure most of you read this series for in the first place (no spoilers, but it is beautiful and painful and everything you could ever want).

The King's Men wraps up all loose ends, and answers most of the questions you have in a way that feels finished but not complete: you're satisfied, but you're still left craving for more, and the book leaves everything open enough for you to interpret and imagine what happens next. It is a fantastic conclusion to a great series.
