About this audiobook

When opposites attract . . .

Bruce Kelly has spent most of his life helping people who are down on their luck, guiding them toward making better lives. He understands that everyone makes mistakes, even if he's never actually done anything but color inside the lines. Nobody's perfect, but Bruce is about to meet a woman who's perfect for him, even though she's everything he's not. He's determined to show her he can be trusted. If that means being an absolute gentleman at all times, so be it. No matter how many cold showers it takes . . .

Just get out of the way

Cyn Potter is a survivor, with a sassy, gallows wit and a fierce independent streak to show for it. She's used to men wanting only one thing, and she's done with big bad wolves in sheep's clothing. But Bruce is different. Totally hands off. Sometimes she sees a hint of fire in his eyes, but he treats her with the respect she's always wanted. Yet, truthfully, he's a guy worth letting down a few defenses for . . . along with a few other things. Maybe somebody needs to help Bruce discover just how perfect being imperfect can be . . .

Good book with heart tugging struggle of a young girl, sincere romance, and scary bad guys. I was totally engrossed in this story. Cyn is trying to start her life anew when she encounters preacher Bruce.

In the following of Visitation series, we get to know Bruce, Bryan's twin, better, as well as Visitation. Again, a nice light romance, with hunks and sexy scenes.

I don't normally read romance books involving ministers or preachers because there is always a conflict with there calling and falling in love. With this story Bruce knew that his love for Cyn and God were not in competition with each and he was able to express both and not be worried or scared. And the major one thing I LOVED about this book is that Bruce and Cyn expressed their feeling almost immediately when they felt them they talked to each. Even Bruce admitted that he loved the fact that Cyn spoke here mind and her feelings. This was an exceptional love story. It's a hit everytime with Foster!!!

My first Lori Foster, and I'm just so dissappointed. Maybe not the best one to start with - the wholesome preacher lusting after the 13 years younger prostitute just bothered me. With Bruce being someone who helps reform and help these women, and knowing that she was abused, I was just appalled that Bruce would still become romantically involved with Cyn so quickly. I didn't buy it, and in fact, was pretty disgusted with it. Had to make myself finish it. I shuddered during the intimate scenes and they made me uncomfortable. I read this right after reading Susan Anderson's Just for Kicks's which is a great, sexy love story. I'll have to read another Lori Foster novel - this one was just not my cup of tea.

At the age of 17 Cyn knew it was time to fight back and when her mother's boyfriend came into her room with nefarious intention she was determined not to be his victim ever again. But, fighting back led to its own consequence and Cyn was forced to run. With no other recourse Cyn sold her body to survive, eventually earning enough money to make a new start. A poke of her finger on a map set her course. She would make her home in Visitation, North Carolina. The minute Bruce Kelly saw the young woman tumble from the tractor trailer truck and turn to fight the burley driver he knew she needed his help, or so he thought. As a preacher Bruce felt it his duty to aide those around him. However, he had never met anyone like Cyn before. Cyn is the person Bruce never expected to meet, the person who would turn his world around and remind him that he is a man in addition to being a man of God. Now all he has to do is convince her how special she is to him.I really enjoyed this story just as I have enjoyed all of Foster's Visitation series so far. This story involves Bruce, the preacher and twin brother to Bryan from The Secret Life of Bryan. Although it was fun to see the recurring characters from the previous books of this series Bruce and Cyn definitely carried this story on their own. I loved this tale of how a former prostitute and a practicing preacher come togther despite the differences between them. This was a quick, enjoyable read which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a contemporary romance with heart, instead of just fluffy chick lit. I'm really looking forward to continuing on with this series.
