      Spectacular book which only enhanced by the author herself narrating it. Such open vulnerable story about life of a girl, a girl at intersection of being Black, poor and sexual assault survivor. Beautiful book that holds so much power and so much heart. Highly recommend!

      Beautifully crafted. I hope this finds it’s way to as many people as possible, on to school syllabuses and is adapted into a movie or show. It’s a story that everyone would benefit from.
