    Monique Joiner Siedlak is a writer, witch, and warrior on a mission to awaken people to their greatest potential through the power of storytelling infused with mysticism, modern paganism, and new age spirituality.       Everyone has their own way of doing things but this is a good beginning. The only gripe I have is the way she presents her "rules" for candle magick. Her safety rules are solid but "operational rules" (don't blow candles out, always use a suffer, never reuse candles, bury candles you didn't use all of, etc) tend to be personalized. Apply only the rules you belive in. All in all it is a good primer.

      The book is very informative and walks through basics and more complicated methods of candle magick.

      Just finished Candle Magick by Monique Joiner Siedlak; She's Wiccan, But it was a quick read that I kept repeating passages for clarity and notes. It has some interesting spell recipes. I probably won't be using them verbatum as I don't feel connected to her methods but it was a great view on one person's practice/spell book.
