About this audiobook

Luxuriant Environmentalism Make a huge, positive, global difference from your own home! Prioritize comfort over sacrifice while saving thousands of dollars. Explore dozens of solutions and their impacts on carbon footprint, petroleum footprint, toxic footprint, and other environmental issues.

If 20% of the population implemented half the solutions in this book, it would solve the biggest global problems. All without writing to politicians, joining protests, signing petitions, or being angry at the people that are causing the problems.

Good solutions are often different from conventional environmental wisdom. The average American adult has a carbon footprint of 30 tons per year. Replacing a petroleum car with an electric car will cut 2 tons. But if you live in a cold climate and you switch from electric heat to a rocket mass heater, you will cut 27 tons!

Join Paul and Shawn on a journey featuring simple alternatives that you may have never heard of — alternatives which are about building a more symbiotic relationship with nature so we can all be even lazier.

Nurture nature and nature nurtures us all.

This book is a collection of experience and opinions and is at first interesting and amusing. But then you realize that on a number of topics the author is just giving opinions without facts and this is misleading. It made me question all of the information in the book.

This book has some great information, and a good portion of misinformation. Unless you already have expertise on which is which, it's hard to know when your being led down a misguided rabbit hole, or being offered some gem of wisdom. The book is entertaining, and offers some good tips, but as I began to realize I had to research any of the tips before including (or rejecting) them, it kind of defeated the purpose of reading this particular book (beyond sure entertainment). Finally I quit listening as the author jovially took a lot of stabs at others. This got annoying, as even the book's title is based on not being angry at others, -- and yet there was something on being annoyed at, or better than other people in every, yes every, chapter.

A really great introduction on strategies to take control of your life and make the world a better place. I plan to skim through the ebook to look over some of the figures and tables that were left out and to share his quiz.

Excellent book that gives a lot of great solutions to issues that are currently in the world. I really appreciate that they are clear when they say you could do these things but just by doing these other things that you personally enjoy you will already be making a huge difference.

Fantastic book to get you inspired to start taking steps to starting your regenerative practices on a small scale of large scale

This book makes more actual sense than just about anything I’ve read in my life. Wendell Berry with a pottymouth and a hard edge. Loved it!

Author spends too much time dunking on "eco posers" (his term) and not enough time providing actual eco friendly advice. Sounds like he just has a weird obsession with the average environmental activist and wants to be a troll about them. Weird thing to write a whole book about.
