About this audiobook
Low Morrison is not your average teen. You could blame her hippie parents or her dreary, isolated hometown on an island in the Pacific Northwest. But whatever the reason, Low just doesn’t fit in—and neither does Freya, an ethereal beauty and once-famous social media influencer who now owns the local pottery studio.
After signing up for a class, Low quickly falls under Freya’s spell. And Freya, buoyed by Low’s adoration, is compelled to share her darkest secrets and deepest desires. Finally, both feel a sense of belonging...that is, until Jamie walks through the studio door. Desperate for a baby, she and her husband have moved to the island hoping that the healthy environment will result in a pregnancy. Freya and Jamie become fast friends, as do their husbands, leaving Low alone once again.
Then one night, after a boozy dinner party, Freya suggests swapping partners. It should have been a harmless fling between consenting adults, one night of debauchery that they would put behind them, but instead, it upends their lives. And provides Low the perfect opportunity to unleash her growing resentment.
An “explosive, sexy, and completely absorbing” (Kate Moretti, New York Times bestselling author) thriller, The Swap is perfect for fans of Megan Miranda and Lisa Jewell.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Sorry for any spoilers but what I don't get is why they convince a certain character something never happened, then gaslight that character into believing it was their fault and their idea. It makes no sense why they pretend the event didn't happen the day after and let them walk around feeling like a crazy person for no real reason or motive

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I like the whole book but the ending. Not sure how I feel about it. Might just be me.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Read it in a day, interesting enough if not a bit predictable.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I couldn't feel empathy for any of the characters. They were equally terrible in their own ways. I gave it 3 stars because the book does a good job of skewering people's carefully curated social media personalities. The premise was original too.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow! I finished this book in a day! So good
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I saw a review that said they read it in a day and I didn't believe it till I read it within a day also. Very entertaining!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Narrators were superb. It was difficult to suspend disbelief over some of the character's actions. The major issue with it was the author's use of deceit to create one of the plot twists.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I love this genre so much and I have a lot of opinion about it. Unfortunately this book did not hit the right notes for me. It became a little bit boring towards the end, because I knew where it was heading already. Predictable.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Fast read but felt like a 10yo wrote it. Do not recommend
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Found the story predictable. Not really sure how I feel about this book. I finished it in 2 days but didn't find it to be a thriller, more like a suspense novel ?!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I hate to be The Parrot, but just like everyone else said about this book, I could not put it down. When things got going, they really got going. Whatever you're thinking about the ending, I guarantee you you're incorrect. Fantastic story with wonderful narrators!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What a great depiction of narcissistic personality disorder. We all know that one person that is like this. The obsession is scary and right down to the last 2 lines of the book. Great job. Recommend for sure!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Robyn delivers another stellar story! The narrators were perfect. Such a different style than most thrillers.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It’s was a little slow. It was well written but the story wasn’t as entertaining as I hoped. It was a little depressing
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I loved The Party and had a lot of high hopes for the swap. However, the story was not that compelling. It became predictable. Had high expectations coming in. Think it was okay but not my favorite. Didn’t keep my attention
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This was a terrible book. I feel like the author was reaching too hard into minority identities and it felt clunky and unnatural. The whole story was just bad. My 16 queer daughter and I listened to it together, she hated it just as much a I did. Don't try so hard next time.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Its just okay
Has some married couple drama, but really no wow effect - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Really this book.
Characters were well thought through, the plot had plenty of action and emotional ups and downs to keep you hooked.
Second book read and loved by this author, can’t wait for the next one ? - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Completely obsessed with this book. The author knew how to write her characters in a way that kept me hooked the whole way through. Now I need the rest of her books!!!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really did enjoy this book, it kept my attention from beginning to end, although the end was pretty predictable, it was still enjoyable nonetheless.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5There were so many times I wanted to add this to my DNF pile, but I try to finish every book I start. There were very interesting points in the plot but also some very dull and predictable points. I would not recommend or reread this book. There was potential in the plot.
