This book takes up the story of Abbie and John Reynolds first seen in A time to Dance. Having got past nearly breaking up, they are trying to rebuild their marriage while John is having work problems. Then one night their lives change in an instance forever.

It seems as if we are subjected to a never ending litany of the problems faced by Christians one after another in what is often an unrealistically speedy way.

I found myself on more than one occasion feeling manipulated into a view of God that bears little resemblance to real life.

God does answer our prayers but not always in such a quick and positive way.

I was left feeling cheated and feel that showing them coping when prayers aren't answered in the way we want would have been more helpful to readers.

A series of remarkable events lead to tragedy, then triumph for a family that trusts God for their outcomes.

The sequel to 'A Time To Dance' is yet another story about faith and hope... about how when things in life don't go smoothly or as planned, everything has a purpose, and that miracles do happen. A tearjerker, but 5★ read!! It is best to read the books in this series in order to have a fuller comprehension of the plot and character development.

Brilliant. A slow start but very well written, loved it.

I found some parts of the story a bit “long-winded”. There were a few events in the story that did not need somewhat repetitive, long conversations. But despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the whole book. It was a delightful and worthwhile read that I am sure many novel readers would enjoy. The overall plot was excellent, and many of the book’s themes were very relevant as they dealt with issues that happens in many families. This book is the second book in the Timeless Love Series. I have never read the first book, but reading A Time to Embrace has made me want to read the first book, A Time to Dance.
