      I can see why Silver in the Wood won the World Fantasy Award. I’ve never read a more satisfying novella, more magical and strange and dark and hopeful. It’s as full of life as the Wood itself.

      This is amazing both the author and the narrator!! I wish I can keep listening to this for the rest of my life. The book itself is already written very beautifully and lyrical but this audiobook just turned into a movie. I enjoyed it so much and i highly recommend this audiobook for everyone who loves a good story!

      This book was good! I enjoyed the first book (silver in the wood) more then the second (drowned country) mostly for the setting. The wood was lovely and magical and the interactions between Tobias and silver were cute and sweet.

      The drowned city was gritty and more exciting then the wood but it lacked the depth of the location that the wood had. I couldn't visualize the place as well and I feel it made for a weaker atmosphere. The story itself was great over all to be sure but I didn't like the relationship of Tobias and silver as much as in the wood.

      Overall great read, loved the characters and story and would highly recommend!

      Absolut Magic! The story, the atmosphere, the characters, the reader, everything was pure magic. Magical realism and amazing folklore, a new classic, yet contemporary in spirit. Perfect for fans of CS Lewis, Diana Wynne Jones, Pratchett and Co.

      What a lovely doulogy, the 1st one was more interesting than the 2nd, its felt coherent, while the 2nd book jumped into the past at the weirdest moments and there were parts that did not make since.
      Still it was a nice little audio to pass the time with.

      -Silver in the Wood: 4,5-5 stars. I loved this book. It was sweet, dreamy and strange at the same time. Like a charming fantasy romance with hints of darker ancient elements. It was very enjoyable to read.
      -Drowned country: 4,0-4,5 stars. The second book in this duology was a bit like the backside of a coin in the way that we got to see more of the scary consequences of magic. Loved it.

      I really loved this duology. It was gentle, queer romance, set in a beautiful fantasy. For fans of The House in the Cerulean Sea or The Starless Sea. I especially loved their interactions with Maud in the second book.
