About this audiobook

This instant New York Times bestseller from Christina Lauren will wrap you “in its cozy, jolly embrace like a beloved holiday sweater” (Entertainment Weekly) as Maelyn Jones discovers what happens when Christmas wishes comes true.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…but not for Maelyn Jones. She’s living with her parents, hates her going-nowhere job, and has just made a romantic error of epic proportions.

But perhaps worst of all, this is the last Christmas Mae will spend at her favorite place in the world—the snowy Utah cabin where she and her family have spent every holiday since she was born. Mentally melting down as she drives away from the cabin for the final time, Mae throws out what she thinks is a simple plea to the universe: Please. Show me what will make me happy.

The next thing she knows, tires screech, metal collides, and everything goes black. But when Mae gasps awake…she’s on an airplane bound for Utah, where she begins the same holiday all over again. With one hilarious disaster after another sending her back to the plane, Mae must figure out how to break free of the strange time loop—and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.

“Take one lovably flawed heroine, add a doting boy-next-door hero, and sprinkle in a cozy family holiday, and you have the recipe for a delicious time-looping romantic comedy” (Library Journal, starred review) that will make you believe in the power of wishes and the magic of the holidays.

Very cute! I enjoyed the audible version and the narrator's voice and reading. A nice little listen during the holiday season.

Passable Christmas romance, which doesn’t make the most of its Groundhog Day style premise. They really should have found a narrator who could do a decent Australian accent, she doesn’t even get the pronunciation of ‘Aussie’ right.

I didn't like it! Mostly because I love Christina Lauren so this book didn't live up to my expectations. It was just too childish...

I was skeptical that a time traveling Christmas romance would be the ticket to pump up my Christmas Spirit while decorating in freezing temperatures but listening to Holidaze was like a warm cup of spiced cider for the soul. The characters are lovable while also having their own interesting back stories. The plot was easy to follow and not overly complicated. More now, than ever, families come in all forms and this novel showcases a blended family united to make the most of that special time of year. There’s joy and redemption after struggles most people can imagine themselves going through at one point or another in life. It’s a lighthearted tale of being true to oneself in order to receive the greatest rewards life has to offer.

Pretty good story. Though it isn't my usually genre, I only read it because I enjoyed most of their other books. I really liked the family/friends tradition that they had, I wasn't a fan of the Christmas Groundhog day part though, but I did generally enjoy it.

Clever, sweet, funny, a bit stressful, very good book! Loved listening to this in December. Love the narrator.

The first third of the book reminded me way too much of Groundhog Day, which I didn't care for. Once I got past that and the story more revolved around Mae and Andrew, I was hooked. I enjoyed watching Mae grow determined to do what made her happy and go for things she was previously too afraid to go for. Without the first third of the book, I would have given this cute holiday story four stars.

I personally just could not connect with the characters at all, but I feel like it's because I never really got the chance to get to know them! And because I did't really know the characters I couldn't care less about the romance...

I love this romantic family vacation story, so sweet, so happy and I like Andrew's flirting with Maelyn, With their love story.

    .

Until the accident with her family and when Maelyn realized she was back six days ago and started their vacation all over again.
