About this audiobook
Everett Monroe can’t keep his eyes off his gorgeous tenant.
He’d like to put his hands on her too, but she’s prickly, closed-off, and gives new meaning to the word disgruntled. In other words, she’s his perfect match and he’ll do anything to make her see it too.
Willa Hill has finally left her teen runaway past behind and wants a fresh start—alone. Men are nothing but trouble and she’s had enough man-trouble to last a lifetime.
Too bad her irresistibly sexy, nerdy-hot landlord doesn’t agree.
When their mutual yearning becomes a white-hot fling and passion crosses carefully drawn, albeit one-sided boundaries,
Everett finds himself in love and Willa finds herself in a pickle.
Because, unfortunately, when she returned to Green Valley, her problems came too.
When the past she escaped crashes into the future she finds herself wanting more than anything, will Willa stay in Green Valley?
Or will she run away again?
‘Carpentry and Cocktails’ is a full-length contemporary romance, can be read as a standalone, and is book #5 in the Green Valley Library series, Green Valley World, Penny Reid Book Universe.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was my favorite in the Library series so far. Very sweet, and LOVE Chris Brinkley. This is my first time listening to Charlotte North too, and I'm now a fan. Loved ALL of the characters. Well worth the listen.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was such a great book! Everett is officially my new book crush and I was so happy for Willa to end up with such a wonderful man after the hell she went through. So far, Nora Everly’s books have been my favorites in this series, though they have all been enjoyable. I’m happy to see she has contributed 2 more books to the Green Valley Library series!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love this one. Ahh what a great writer. Glad there was this one as well
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great book. I love that the hero was an alpha male who was a gentleman in every way. It was wonderful that he wasn't a possessive jerk but rather cherished the heroine.
My one complaint is that through the entire book they kept throwing away or cleaning up evidence of the abusive ex husband breaking a restraining order. I mean really there's no way he would have been sent back to prison because there was no proof that he was stalking her and violating the restraining order.
