About this audiobook
Hill and Plitnick provide a timely and essential intervention by examining multiple dimensions of the Israeli-Palestinian conversation, including Israel's growing disdain for democracy, the effects of occupation on Palestine, the siege of Gaza, diminishing American funding for Palestinian relief, and the campaign to stigmatize any critique of Israeli occupation. Except for Palestine is a searing polemic and a cri de coeur for elected officials, activists, and everyday citizens alike to align their beliefs and politics with their values.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really appreciate it the context because although you get a lot of information here and there about the conflict, this is a good timeline that provides much detail to be honest. I just wanted the detail to further my argument for a free Palestine!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book captures what happens when one group has all the money and power to wield it over politicians around the world and various “news” outlets. The result is an ethno state, apartheid and white nationalist state who can no longer hide their loathing of Palestinians and Muslims.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I was really looking for a book to provide a good explanation for systemic discrimination against the Palestinian side of the conflict.
However, I ended up quite disappointed. 5 minutes in and already heard more than one false claim and a handful of personal opinions...
