About this audiobook

Who knew a bad boy could mend a broken heart?

What does a girl do after she discovers her fiancé is a cheating bastard?

In my case, I performed the ritual implosion of all scorned women. I drowned my sorrows in cases of white wine, wallowed in gallons of ice cream, and ignited a bonfire to burn away every damn remnant of his existence. Six months later, the only result was a permanent impression of my ass on the couch.

Adventure Dating my friends dared.

A new and exciting opportunity they said.

I thought they were crazy, but I’m not one to back down from a challenge, so I signed up for the entire four-week deal.

That’s where I saw HIM. Lucas Cummings. He isn’t the classic rich boy I usually end up with. The one whose idea of working up a sweat is waiting for his margarita to be served beachside. Nope. He’s a rough and tough bad boy that all fathers warn their daughters about. You know the type. Cocky swagger, chiseled jaw—the ‘V’.

SOLD, I said to myself, until I discovered he was so much more than just a BOXER.

Left Hook.

Right to the heart.

The duel narration was done exceptionally well, I loved listening to this book, even the twist in the story. Though I did find her reasoning near the end a bit "hissy fit-ish", I'm glad there was a good conclusion.
I loved the narrators. Maxine is perfect for Talia, and Jason Clarke's voice for Lucas is hot, hot, hot!

Wow. Sexy, steamy, and the best Piper Rayne I’ve experienced to date. I’ve listened to at least a dozen of her novels, and this one blew away my expectations. I truly enjoy novels with a his and her POV alternating chapters and I had expected the Modern Love stories to follow suit but this one is told from her POV only and it wouldn’t work as well any other way.
    More, please!!!

Cute story with interesting characters. The friends are great (and terrible)! I really enjoyed the duet-style narration with the female point of view. Jason Clarke and Maxine Mitchel are both top-notch performers and are wonderful together. I will be listening to more books in the series!

This was a good fun romance. Made me smile. The voice acting is good, but i got confused at a couple parts if the male voice actor was voicing other male characters than the main love interest.

I kinda wish this had been my first contemporary romance novel. These books read like a romantic comedy made-for-tv-movies, i think thats the charm of the book.

I like that the female main character (fmc) embarrasses herself at the beginning and keeps stumbling into this guy. It's funny, then cringey, then hopeful. The guy turns up in odd places out of no where and would have come off as a creepy stalker at one point if the fmc hadn't responded favorably or if this has been another genre.

There's a moment at the end where the charger behavior didn't make sense, but i guess the be author was trying to frag out the book a few more scenes.

I like that the cliffhanger is in the epilogue. So people that didn't read the epilogue will think the book just ends as a stand alone.

    Good spice.
    A bit of miscommunication trope.
