About this audiobook

Terrorism expert Shana Adams has hidden her telepathic talents for her own safety. The Federation would throw her in jail, or worse, condemn her to death. She's ignored her talents for so long, she is stunned when they come rushing back to life revealing not only her boss Marcus Carlyle's attraction to her, but the plot to kill him.

Raised by one of the leaders who fought to imprison anyone with special abilities, Marcus has never been a man who trusted easily. There is something about his new employee he can't seem shake, but he is sure has more to do with having her in his bed than anything else. Still, there is a part of him that knows trusting her is the right thing to do.

When a criminal organization stealing secrets jeopardizes Marcus' life, Shana risks everything to uncover the truth and save Marcus. Drawn into a dangerous web of passion and suspicion, she’ll offer Marcus more than her body to survive.

Editor's Note

USA Today Bestselling Author...

The first book in Schroeder’s “Telepathic Cravings” series is a short, sexy science fiction romantic suspense. The heroine, Shana, has telepathy in a world where people with those powers are faced with prosecution, and she’s secretly working against the government. Shana and her boss immediately forge a sexual relationship, but he doesn’t know her secrets. There are plenty of erotic scenes, and these scenes are heightened by the suspenseful story.

Melissa Schroeder

From an early age, USA Today Bestselling author Melissa loved to read. First, it was the books her mother read to her including her two favorites, Winnie the Pooh and the Beatrix Potter books. She cut her preteen teeth on Trixie Belden and read and reviewed To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school. It wasn’t until she was in college that she tried to write her first stories, which were full of angst and pain, and really not that fun to read or write. After trying several different genres, she found romance in a Linda Howard book. Since her first published book, Grace Under Pressure, Mel has had over 60 short stories, novellas, and novels published. She has written in genres ranging from historical to contemporary to futuristic and has worked with 8 publishers although she handles most of her publishing herself. She is best known for her Harmless and Santini series. After years of following her military husband around the country and world, Mel happily lives with her family in horse and wine country in Northern Virginia.

Mostly sex with very little plot. I like sexy scenes but some of these made no sense.

    Hot! steamy! Full of smut!
But not only about the smutt. I cared for the characters, wanted them to be happy! The world they live in I couldn't quite grasp, so much going on I couldn't see the world they home in. But can understand the issues that affect their decisions.
So world build was ok, character but was very good, smut was intensely hot!
